Today Sunset Church of Christ, where Jeremy is the youth minister, celebrated their 20th anniversary. It was neat to see the history of the congregation unfold. Twenty years ago two churches merged and became Sunset CofC with 200 members. Today, twenty years later, Sunset has 650 members and has planted two churches within the last five years and planning their third. All three combined churches (Sunset and their two church plants) this morning had a total of over 1200 in attendance!!! Praise the Lord! Even though moving here four months ago was hard, it has been a great blessing to be welcomed into such a loving group of brothers and sisters. To be apart of a great work is very important. It is amazing to think about where this church has been, how far it has come and where it can still go with the Lord's help. So as we are here planting, may God continue to give the increase! Praise the Lord!
