Halloween Fun!

The past two nights have been filled with lots of fun. Monday night was the youth group Halloween/Fall hayride. It was lots of fun. We roasted hot dogs, had smores, bobbed for oranges and lemons (Jeremy wanted to see funny faces) and then had a scary hayride. The hayride lasted for an hour and a half and really wasn't all that scary. We contemplated not taking Madison but she really wanted to go. So, we explained that everything was fake and just pretend. You know, the usual. She wasn't scared at all. In fact, when someone started running at the trailor with a chainsaw, she just watched while all the kids were screaming. At the end of the ride when we asked her if she got scared her answer was simply a no. This was not at all what we expected out of her. She is the one we expected to be scared out of her wits!!Here are some pics from the night.

Then last night, of course, we went trick or treating. It was lots of fun. Here are a few shots from the night.

To start the whole night out, this is how Jeremy decides to dress. Can you guess what he is? If you guessed an e-harmony profile, you are right and brillant for thinking that. I definitely could not figure it out. He wore something of just about everything he likes to do...golfing, hiking, hunting, archery, beach, pajama pants, the three stoges...
I wore his football jersey and letterman jacket from high school so they were out of pocket for him. What a silly man!!

Getting candy!! Sheryl used Joshua as her reason to get candy. HA!
Candy from three kids---AHHH! Anyone want to share?? (And we only trick or treated two streets!)
