Another Animal?!

I know you're probably thinking from the title that we have gone insane...and we probably have! A couple weeks ago a lady who works at Westview with us said that someone just dropped 5 puppies off on the side of the road. They were all huddled up together trying to stay warm and they were hungry. She asked if we would want another dog? I thought about it, but Madison just happened to be with me. So she started begging! After discussing it with Jeremy, we decided to rescue all the puppies and then find homes for them and maybe keep just one. When we got to where they were located they ran into the woods from being scared. We finally were able to only catch one of them with luring it with food. She was by far the cutest and also the only one who didn't growl or bark at us.

We did end up keeping her! We named her Rosie! She is so good and well mannered. For the first couple of days we had to pick her up and put her outside b/c she wouldn't get off the blanket in the house. Now, we can't get her to come inside. She loves hanging outside with Princess and Joe. The kids love her and she is great with them. The only problem I am having with her is that she is a chewer. The vet says she is part lab so there is where she gets the chewing from. The other day she totally demolished one of the kids sand buckets for their sandbox.

(No pictures of Rosie with Emma b/c Emma didn't want hers taken.) So as of today, the animal count at our house is:
3 dogs, 9 fish, 4 pigs and 6 horses!!

Ok you guys, I am completely jealous!! I promise you, if we had the space we would have a TON of animals...so don't feel bad. She's a cutie... and if she's good with kids, that's all that matters. At least she's chewing outside and not your furniture :-)
